How You Can Help

For the next 6 months of treatment (the doctor said there was a high probability that we would get pregnant within that time frame), we’re looking at between $20,000-$25,000. This includes tests, drugs, procedures, etc. If we end up getting pregnant in the first couple months and not needing the rest for treatments, we’ll save it to use for future treatments to have more children. We’re trying to be optimistic and say we need $20,000. We put a Baby Fund Thermometer on the sidebar with our goal of $20,000, and we’ll update it weekly (we’ll try, anyway). If you want to help us out in our journey to parenthood, we would be eternally grateful! If you want to ask us a question privately, our email is masonbabymaybe@gmail.com

I (Heather) enjoy crafting and other projects, and I'm putting all the money I make from selling my crafts into our baby fund! Here's a partial list of projects I have done/am willing to do. If you have a question on prices or want to know if I can make a certain craft for you, just let me know!

· Digital/design work (see my other blog - Engaging Designs by Heather)
· Tutus - $8-$70
· Bead Jewelry $2-$20
· Loom Beading (bookmarks, keychains, etc) $7-$30
· Baby Car Seat Canopies $20-$40
· Baby Taggie Blankets $15-$30
· Cloth Flowers $3-$8
· Tutu Bow Holders $15-$50
· Mermaid Tail Blankets $100
· Wreaths $25-$50
· Flies for Fishing
· Misc other crafts

If you'd rather just donate outright, we have secondary accounts set up at our two credit unions, so you can choose whatever would work best for you.

1. Beehive – You can mail a check, made out to one or both of us for “Baby Fund”. I think you can include a note saying you want it to be anonymous, if you like. Their address is:

Beehive Federal Credit Union
65 S. Center Street
Rexburg, ID 83440

2. Mountain America – You can go in and deposit straight into the account. If you want it to be anonymous, just mention that to the teller. They have branches everywhere – you can go to www.macu.com and find which one is closest to you. Tell them it's for Jonathan and Heather Mason (they have to look it up by our names), and the account name is Mason Baby Fund (If telling them this name doesn't work, let me know, and I can give you the account number).

3. We have a PayPal account set up. They do charge 2.9% for processing, plus $.30 for each transaction, but it's easier than the credit union for those out of town.

    1. We thought the thermometer would be the best way to track how far we are. It’s a little disheartening, to see how far we need to go, but it also gives us hope, because at least we have a number to shoot for! Thanks for the help you (and the rest of the family) have already given us. It means a lot.

  4. I heard your story and wanted to help a little. Mountain America Credit Union could find nothing under Mason Baby Fund or Brett and Heather Mason. They did find a checking account under Jonathan and Heather. Being an old friend of Brett's I hope that is you and I hope this small note may help someone else find your account.

    1. First of all, thank you for being so kind. It really means a lot. That is indeed us, and we discovered why the bank couldn't find it. They do have to search by Jonathan (my first name) and Heather instead of Brett and Heather. We named the secondary account Mason Baby Fund on our side, but they hadn't changed the account name in their side of the system. That is now fixed, so if anyone else wants to find it, they should be able to. Thank you again for your gift!

  5. I'm interested in several of your crafts, will they be displayed at your garage sale? do you take custom orders?
